WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A SESSION?
Acupuncture treatments will last approximately 45 minutes. You may dress comfortably or request a sheet cover to ensure your comfort. Before starting, the practitioner will ask you questions regarding your health concerns, if there have been any changes in your health and if any symptoms are acutely present at the time of treatment. You may be asked to lie on your back, stomach, or side. Once you're comfortable, very thin, sterile needles will be placed into various points on your body. Acupuncture treatments are not painful. Some patients may feel a slight sensation of heat or pressure during treatment. If you experience discomfort, your practitioner can adjust the placement of the needle or remove it. A heat lamp is available to stay comfortably warm during your treatment (if desired). The needles will be left in for approximately 25-40 minutes. During this time the practitioner will check on you several times to ensure your comfort.
HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED?
The number of sessions will vary from person to person, and can depend on the depth and complexity of your issue, your dedication to the process, and the circumstances of your daily life and environment. Ultimately, the combination of your body’s rate of response with your own desire to succeed and take ownership of your health is the key to healing.
DO YOU OFFER ONLINE/PHONE APPOINTMENTS?
Yes, we offer Telemedicine for patients across the US. This is a great option for those that don't have functional medicine doctors in their area, or who want a more convenient way of getting functional medical support.
DO YOU TAKE SAME DAY/URGENT APPOINTMENTS?
We understand that sometimes health problems come up that require immediate attention. Please let us know by phone or email, and we will do our best to make time for you as soon as possible.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Our patients are very important to us. Missed appointments are costly and take away valuable appointment time from others. We therefore ask that you be aware of your commitment and require a 24 hour cancellation notice - with no fee. There is otherwise a cancellation fee of $50.

Driving from the South: I-95 North to Woolbright Rd Exit. Left- onto Woolbright Rd. -At first light, Corporate Dr. take left. Immediately take your next right into parking lot. Glass 2 story building with 1501 above front entrance. Parking is in front and in back of building. Go to 2nd floor, suite 270.
